Dream job, dream house, dream wife: Paul, an acclaimed playlist curator at a major music streaming company, is used to having it all. When a big promotion abroad slips through his fingers at the last minute and his ideal world is shaken to its foundations, Paul embarks on a pop-soaked, self-discovery summer odyssey through his adopted home of Amsterdam.
Aaron Rookus
Aaron Rookus was born in 1983 and initially studied at the Utrecht School of Arts, where he is now also a lecturer. He also studied film studies at the University of Amsterdam. Aaron has made a number of short films and a few series episodes so far. Aaron is making his feature film debut with Goodbye Stranger and is already working on his second film and writing debut with The Idyll.
