A close-knit family goes off the rails when the father doesn’t resurface during a professional dive. No funeral, no goodbyes, just a house full of memories. Burdened by the elusive loss, Merel avoids her husband’s death and everything that comes with it. Her young children become entangled in the search for answers, eventually putting the family in a difficult position. Merel has no choice but to face the loss in her own unique way and begin a new life together.
Martijn de Jong
Martijn de Jong studied at the Willem de Kooning Academy until 2004 and has since been active for several advertising companies. He then studied at the Dutch Film Academy. During this time he produced some short films, which already won some awards. Primarily Martijn turns to advertising campaigns, but along the way he also realizes feature films.
